1. To those who said they're not friendly to non- Chinese customers, this is likely because they don't speak English well and are shy about it. For instance, they thought we were complaining about a dish but we were complimenting them. So try to be nice.
2. For authentic Chinese food don't order off the menu - order off the wall with photos or ask for the Chinese menu and point to pictures.
3. Do not order chop suey anywhere - this is not real Chinese food.
4. This is authentic Northern Chinese food.
5. Northern Chinese food is spicy cuz Harbin is the same latitude as Edmonton so it gets cold and hot food is welcome. If you don't like spicy food don't eat Northern Chinese food.
What we ordered - hot and sour soup. Bowl pictured is small and good for four people. Warm potato salad could use more vinegar. Three veg dish was super. Szechuan chicken was great.
Can't wait to try more off the Mandarin menu. -

I know Chinese buffets are usually frowned upon when it comes to authentic Chinese but this place was one of the worst Chinese prices I have ever had.
Had to have a quick lunch before bringing my vehicle in for a service and this was the closest buffet restaurant near by.
For 13.95 you get mostly vegetable items 2 sweet and sour meats that were the same noodles that had no taste with soups ( hot and sour that was bland and wonton soup with...well...no wonton? )
The table sitting close by we're ordering some simple dishes and they still couldn't get the order right...Decor was very dated.
Next time I'm going with my gut...because if no ones there at 12:00 noon then it's definitely not a go for me. Save your money. Jumbo is across the strip with dim sum and more authentic Chinese food. -

Beef curry was terrible, sauce was really watery and I'm pretty sure the ingredients were 2 whole onions diced 2 celery sticks diced, 1/4 of red pepper and 1/4 of green pepper and then about 6 small pieces of beef.
It would be nice if I asked for a curry onion. But I never
